OLD 4TH WARD was created as one of five wards in the 1850’s as Atlanta was experiencing rapid growth, the Old Fourth Ward is the only neighborhood whose name still references the original ward system. Its diverse population over the centuries has made it ground zero for events and figures who shaped the nation.
FWW is the northwestern portion of Old Fourth Ward and Neighborhood History as seen through the buildings to be here soon.
